Weis breaks piece of knee
Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis had a piece of his knee break off with no warning.
Weis said it’s the reason he has been hobbling around training camp lately and using a cane.
The coach said that he already had problems with his knee before this latest, strange incident.
Weis expects to have surgery to repair the knee, but won’t do it until after the season is over.
It was clear that the knee is a detriment to Weis, but he didn’t care to spend much time talking about it.
